Abstract: | In this book we are going to look specifically at the PIC family of microcontrollers. Microcontrollers have all the essential features of a full-size computer, but all on a single chip. By
contrast, conventional microprocessor systems, such as the PC (personal computer), are built with a separate processor, memory, input and output chips. The extra hardware and software required to make these chips work together makes the system more difficult to understand than our single chip microcontroller unit (MCU). |
